# Meeting follow-up

> Turn a meeting's notes into action items and a follow-up email, while it's still fresh.

An Upsy playbook · https://upsy.ai/playbooks/meeting-follow-up

To use it: the user adds it in Upsy (Playbooks, Start from a playbook), or an assistant with Upsy proposes this file with playbook_save for the user to accept. Then any assistant they allow loads it with playbook_get and follows it with the user's own accounts.

## The playbook file

```markdown
---
title: Meeting follow-up
description: Turn a meeting's notes into action items and a follow-up email, while it's still fresh.
category: Meetings
before:
  - Which meeting (the last one if not said)
  - Which Todoist project the action items go to
boundaries: Reads the meeting's notes, drafts an email and adds tasks to the project you name. Never sends the email, invites anyone or changes existing tasks.
result: The action items in your task list, and a follow-up email waiting in your drafts.
---
The hour after a meeting decides whether anything happens. This takes the notes, finds who agreed to what, and gets the follow-up ready for you to send.
1. **Read the notes.** Find the meeting's notes and transcript, and who was there. :connector[granola]
2. **List the action items.** Each with who owns it and when it's due, as they were said. Note decisions apart from tasks.
3. **Add your action items as tasks.** Only the ones the user owns, each with a link to the notes. :connector[todoist]
4. **Draft the follow-up.** A short email to the attendees: what was decided, who does what by when. Save it as a draft for the user to review. :connector[gmail]
## Example output
*Draft to Dana, Sam:* Thanks both. Decided: launch moves to the 14th. Dana: final copy by Friday. Sam: pricing page by Monday. I'll send the announcement.
Upsy connects personal AI assistants (Muse, Grok, ChatGPT, Claude, Cursor, Claude Code, Codex, Devin) to your Gmail, Google Calendar, Google Drive, Slack, Notion and other apps through one MCP server, with a shared memory, files and a cloud browser signed in to your sites. You choose what each assistant may do in each app, see everything it did, and turn it off in one click. Upsy is free. To add Upsy to an assistant, add a remote MCP server (Streamable HTTP) named Upsy at https://upsy.ai/connect. It signs in with OAuth; there is no API key.
