# Client meeting prep

> Walk into your next client meeting with the context and the questions that matter.

An Upsy playbook · https://upsy.ai/playbooks/client-meeting-prep

To use it: the user adds it in Upsy (Playbooks, Start from a playbook), or an assistant with Upsy proposes this file with playbook_save for the user to accept. Then any assistant they allow loads it with playbook_get and follows it with the user's own accounts.

## The playbook file

```markdown
---
title: Client meeting prep
description: Walk into your next client meeting with the context and the questions that matter.
category: Client work
before:
  - The client's name, and the meeting if there's more than one
  - Where you keep account notes in Notion
boundaries: Reads your calendar, email and notes, and prepares a brief. Never sends a message, accepts an invite or changes a note.
result: A one-page brief with what changed, what needs a decision and what to ask.
---
The useful context for a client call is rarely in the invitation. It's in the last email thread, the account notes and the decisions you left open.
1. **Find the meeting.** Look for the client's next meeting in your calendar and note who's coming. If more than one fits, ask which. :connector[calendar]
2. **Read the latest from the client.** Find the recent email threads with the attendees, and keep a link to each. :connector[gmail]
3. **Read the account notes.** Find the client's pages in Notion: past meeting notes, open decisions, plans. :connector[notion]
4. **Write the brief.** What changed since you last met, what needs a decision, and the questions to bring. Keep confirmed facts apart from what's still open, and say what you couldn't find.
## Example output
**Acme · Thursday check-in** — *Changed:* the pilot finished on time ([thread](#)). *Decide:* the rollout date. *Ask:* who owns onboarding for the new team?
Upsy connects personal AI assistants (Muse, Grok, ChatGPT, Claude, Cursor, Claude Code, Codex, Devin) to your Gmail, Google Calendar, Google Drive, Slack, Notion and other apps through one MCP server, with a shared memory, files and a cloud browser signed in to your sites. You choose what each assistant may do in each app, see everything it did, and turn it off in one click. Upsy is free. To add Upsy to an assistant, add a remote MCP server (Streamable HTTP) named Upsy at https://upsy.ai/connect. It signs in with OAuth; there is no API key.
