# Meta Muse connectors: every app you can connect to Muse

> Which apps Meta's Muse agent connects to on its own, which are missing, and how to add the rest, like Jira, ClickUp and Airtable, with one connector.

Updated 2026-10-10 · https://upsy.ai/guides/muse

## Short answer

Muse has dozens of built-in connectors, from Gmail and Slack to Notion, Linear and Stripe. You add one by asking in a chat ("Connect my Gmail") or in **Settings › Connectors**. For apps that aren't listed, like Jira, ClickUp, Airtable or Fireflies, you ask Muse for a custom connector. Upsy is one custom connector that brings those apps, up to five accounts per app, and access rules you set per app.

## What Muse is

[Muse](https://about.fb.com/news/2026/09/introducing-muse-personal-ai-agent/) is Meta's personal AI agent, launched on September 8, 2026. It runs on Muse Spark, on its own cloud computer with a browser, for adults in the US and Canada on iOS, Android, Mac, muse.ai and WhatsApp. It's free up to a weekly usage limit; the Power ($20 a month) and Maximum ($100 a month) plans raise that limit, per [Meta's subscriptions page](https://www.meta.com/help/subscriptions/1021145227643680/). Meta lists no connector limits for any plan.

## What Muse connects to natively

Meta doesn't publish a full list; [its help page](https://www.meta.com/help/artificial-intelligence/1687253048996149/) points to Settings › Connectors, which can differ between accounts. As of October 2026:

| App | Built in? | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| Gmail | Yes | One Google account. You choose whether Muse can only read or also send. |
| Google Calendar, Drive, Docs, Sheets | Yes | Each Google app is its own connector. |
| Outlook Mail, Calendar, Contacts | Yes | Three separate connectors. |
| Slack | Yes | Meta's own app in the Slack Marketplace. |
| Notion, Linear, Todoist, Asana | Yes | Added in September 2026. |
| Granola, Calendly, Zoom, Dropbox, Box, GitHub | Yes | Meetings, files and code. |
| Stripe, Plaid, OpenTable, Ticketmaster, Duffel | Yes | Payments, finances, restaurants, events and flights. |
| Zapier | Yes | Zapier's own actions in thousands of apps, using tasks from your Zapier plan. |
| Facebook, Instagram, Threads | Yes | Connect automatically if they're in the same Meta Accounts Center. |
| Jira, Confluence, ClickUp, Airtable | No | Through a custom connector. |
| Fireflies, Miro, Attio, Close, Intercom | No | Through a custom connector. |

Muse asks before important actions, like sending an email. In **Settings › Permissions** you pick "Ask for some actions" or "Always ask" ([Meta's approvals guide](https://www.meta.com/help/artificial-intelligence/1385290430137537/)).

## What's missing

- **Apps outside Meta's list,** like Jira, ClickUp, Airtable, Fireflies and most sales and support tools. Zapier covers some of their actions, not each app's full set of tools.
- **A second account of the same app.** Muse's Gmail holds one Google account, so work and personal Gmail don't fit side by side. See [how to connect multiple Gmail accounts to Muse](/guides/muse/multiple-gmail-accounts).
- **Access rules finer than ask or don't ask.** Meta documents ask-first settings and read-only connectors, not a choice of single actions, like drafting emails but never sending them.
- **One setup for every assistant.** Muse's connectors work only in Muse. If you also use Grok, ChatGPT or Claude, you connect each app again there.
- **Review.** Meta doesn't review custom connectors, so pick one you trust.

## How Upsy fills the gap

Upsy is a remote MCP server: a connector that lets an assistant use your other apps. You add it to Muse once, as a custom connector, and Muse gets:

- **Gmail, Google Calendar, Google Drive with Docs and Sheets, and Slack**, with Upsy's own tools. See [how to connect Gmail to Muse](/guides/muse/gmail).
- **Outlook in the cloud browser.** Upsy's Outlook connector is pending until Microsoft approves Upsy. Until then, you sign in to outlook.com in Upsy's cloud browser, and Muse works there.
- **Apps through their own MCP servers:** Jira and Confluence, ClickUp, Airtable, Fireflies, Miro, Attio, Close, Intercom, PayPal, Webflow, Wix, Sentry and more, each with the service's own sign-in. See [how to connect Jira and Confluence to Muse](/guides/muse/jira).
- **Up to five accounts per app**, each with its own access.
- **Access per app:** Full access, Read-only, Pick actions (only the actions you choose) or No access. Upsy enforces it, so a tool you didn't allow isn't even listed to Muse.
- **History and alerts:** every action Muse takes through Upsy is in your History, and Upsy emails you if Muse sends, deletes or reads a lot at once.
- **Memory, files and a cloud browser** shared with Grok, ChatGPT and Claude. Muse has its own memory and browser, so these matter most if you use more than one assistant.

Upsy is built by Upstash and free for personal use.

## How to add Upsy to Muse

1. Sign up free at [upsy.ai](https://upsy.ai) and connect your apps under **Apps**.
2. Under **Assistants**, click **Add assistant** and pick **Muse**. Copy the setup prompt.
3. Paste it into a new chat in the Muse app or at muse.ai. Muse adds Upsy at `https://upsy.ai/connect` and shows a sign-in link.
4. Open the link, sign in to Upsy, choose what Muse can use, and click **Allow**.
5. Let Muse save the memory line, so it uses Upsy in later chats without being told.

The full steps, and fixes for a sign-in that fails partway, are in [how to add a custom connector to Muse](/guides/muse/custom-connector). Choosing an agent? See [Grok Bot vs Muse](/guides/grok-bot-vs-muse).

Upsy connects personal AI assistants (Muse, Grok, ChatGPT, Claude, Cursor, Claude Code, Codex, Devin) to your Gmail, Google Calendar, Google Drive, Slack, Notion and other apps through one MCP server, with a shared memory, files and a cloud browser signed in to your sites. You choose what each assistant may do in each app, see everything it did, and turn it off in one click. Upsy is free. To add Upsy to an assistant, add a remote MCP server (Streamable HTTP) named Upsy at https://upsy.ai/connect. It signs in with OAuth; there is no API key.
