# Grok connectors: every app you can connect to Grok

> What Grok connects to on its own, what's missing, and how to add Gmail, Outlook, Slack, Notion and more to Grok and Grok Bot with one connector.

## Short answer

Grok connects to Gmail, Google Calendar, Google Drive, Outlook, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive and Salesforce on its own, plus a catalog that includes Notion, GitHub and Linear. [Grok's docs](https://docs.x.ai/grok/connectors) say connectors are open to every Grok user. Grok Bot, the always-on agent from Grok's maker SpaceXAI (formerly xAI), has its own set of plugins. For anything the two don't cover, you can add Upsy to both as one custom connector.

## What Grok connects to on its own

You add these on grok.com: open Connectors, click New Connector, pick the app and sign in. After that, Grok uses the app whenever your question is about it.

| App | Built into Grok? | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| Gmail | Yes | Starts read-only. Drafting and sending are "enabled progressively by your organization's administrators". |
| Google Calendar | Yes | Reads events and free/busy. Creating and changing events needs write permissions. |
| Google Drive (Docs, Sheets, Slides) | Yes | Searches, reads and creates new files. The docs don't describe editing an existing Doc or Sheet. |
| Outlook Mail and Calendar | Yes | Work or school Microsoft account only. Can send. Some companies need an admin to approve it. |
| Microsoft Teams | Yes | Work or school account. Reads and sends messages. |
| OneDrive, SharePoint | Yes | Grok Business and Enterprise only. |
| Salesforce | Yes | An admin sets it up in the xAI console first. One org per team. |
| Notion, GitHub, Linear, Box, Canva, Gamma, Vercel, S&P Global, Meltwater | Catalog | Sign-in only. Meltwater needs its own subscription. |
| Slack, Jira, Confluence, Todoist, ClickUp, Airtable, Calendly, Stripe, Granola, Fireflies | Not in Grok's lists | Check grok.com/connectors, or add them through a custom connector. |

On Grok Business and Enterprise, a team admin has to add each connector in the [xAI console](https://docs.x.ai/grok/connector-management) before members can use it.

### Grok Bot connectors

Grok Bot doesn't use grok.com's connectors. It installs apps as plugins, and every Bot on your account shares them ([xAI's Grok Bot docs](https://docs.x.ai/grok-bot/computer-and-apps)). [Cursor's help page](https://cursor.com/help/grok-bot/connect-plugins) lists Gmail (one mailbox at a time), Google Calendar, Google Drive (search and read), Google Sheets (read and edit cells), Slack, Notion and Zoom, which currently fails to connect. Outlook, Outlook Calendar and OneDrive plugins arrived on September 2, 2026, [per Cursor's forum](https://forum.cursor.com/t/access-to-microsoft-products-in-grok-bot/168055). In a Bot chat, you type @ to attach a connector to a task.

Grok Bot comes with Cursor Pro, Pro+, Ultra and Teams, or with a linked SuperGrok, SuperGrok Plus, SuperGrok Heavy or X Premium+ subscription ([plans](https://cursor.com/help/grok-bot/plans)).

## What's missing

- **Sending from Gmail.** The built-in connector starts read-only, so Grok often drafts but won't send. See [Can Grok send emails?](/guides/grok/send-email)
- **Personal Outlook.** Grok's Outlook connector asks for a work or school account. Outlook.com, Hotmail and Live addresses are left out.
- **More than one account.** Grok Bot's Gmail holds one mailbox at a time, and Grok's docs don't say whether grok.com takes a second one. See [multiple Gmail accounts in Grok](/guides/grok/multiple-gmail-accounts).
- **Choosing what Grok may do.** What Grok gets depends on what Google's or Microsoft's screen grants. There's no per-action choice in grok.com, and the docs describe no log of what Grok did in each app.
- **Apps outside the lists**, like Jira, Todoist, ClickUp, Airtable and Stripe.
- **Two setups.** Grok and Grok Bot each need their own connections.

If Grok's own connector already does what you need, like reading a Gmail inbox or using Outlook on a work account, keep using it.

## How Upsy fills the gap

Upsy is a remote MCP server: a connector that lets an assistant use your other apps. You add it once, at `https://upsy.ai/connect`, and Grok reaches everything you've connected in Upsy:

- **Gmail** with drafts and sending, and up to five accounts. See [connect Gmail to Grok](/guides/grok/gmail).
- **Outlook**, including personal accounts, through Upsy's cloud browser: sign in to Outlook there, and Grok reads and sends in its own tab. A direct Outlook connector comes once Microsoft approves Upsy. See [connect Outlook to Grok](/guides/grok/outlook).
- **Google Calendar**, and **Google Drive with Docs and Sheets**, where Grok suggests changes in a Doc for you to accept.
- **Slack**, sending messages as you.
- **Apps through their own MCP servers**: Linear, Jira and Confluence, Todoist, ClickUp, Airtable, Notion, Calendly, Granola, Fireflies, Stripe and more, each signed in with that service's own login.

For each app, you choose what Grok may do: Full access, Read-only, Pick actions (only the ones you choose) or No access. Every action shows up in Upsy's History, and Upsy emails you if Grok deletes, sends or reads a lot at once. One memory and one logged-in cloud browser are shared with your other assistants, like ChatGPT, Claude and Muse.

## Add Upsy to Grok and Grok Bot

1. Go to [upsy.ai](https://upsy.ai), click **Set up Upsy** and create a free account.
2. On the **Apps** page, connect the apps you want, signing in to each.
3. On the **Assistants** page, click **Add assistant**, then choose **Grok** under **Which assistant?**. Upsy shows a setup prompt. Click **Copy prompt**.
4. Paste it into a Grok chat or a Grok Bot chat. Approve the card Grok shows, then open the sign-in link.
5. On the Upsy page that opens, sign in. Everything starts ticked; untick what Grok shouldn't use, set each app's access, and click **Allow**.

To add it by hand on grok.com instead, open Connectors, click **New Connector**, then **Custom**, paste the address and complete the sign-in. The [custom connector guide](/guides/grok/custom-connector) has the details. To use Upsy in a Grok Bot chat, type @ and pick Upsy.

If something fails along the way, see [Grok connectors not working](/guides/grok/connectors-not-working).

Upsy connects personal AI assistants (Muse, Grok, ChatGPT, Claude, Cursor, Claude Code, Codex, Devin) to your Gmail, Google Calendar, Google Drive, Slack, Notion and other apps through one MCP server, with a shared memory, files and a cloud browser signed in to your sites. You choose what each assistant may do in each app, see everything it did, and turn it off in one click. Upsy is free. To add Upsy to an assistant, add a remote MCP server (Streamable HTTP) named Upsy at https://upsy.ai/connect. It signs in with OAuth; there is no API key.
